Jig block #1

The left part is being made out of aluminum. That one I Mille down to a block 2" x 2.625" x 0.750". On Monday I will start making the block shape as u see in the drawing.

The right part I milled down in cold roll steel. It looks like shown except no angle.

Finally finished on 10-14-14:

8-18-2014

First day of fall 2014 semester, started first project. Got it milled down to size and drilled a center hole. Tomorrow eve I finish the center hole and drill the other holes around it. Pics to come.

   Adjustable pin

     This will become the base of the

      adjustable pin (see project drawing)

Monday (3-17-2014) I will finish project.

Total time on project - 4 class evenings.

Getting better. Need to be able to do a project per week.

Ready to drill, tap and bore tonight.

Tonight (2-5-14) I drilled and tapped the hole pn the right (drawing) and then did the lsrge hole using a bore cutter.

Next week I will drill and tap the hole on the left side of the piece. Then it is to the lathe where I will do the other piece primarily. A little work at the end eith the mill is also needed. I will post a photo Monday evening showing the completed flat piece of this project.
